Fractionally Spaced Equalization and Decision Feedback Sequence Detection for Diffusive MC

In this letter, we consider diffusive molecular communication (MC) systems affected by signal-dependent noise, inter-symbol interference, and external noise. We design linear nonlinear fractionally-spaced equalization schemes a detection scheme which combines decision feedback sequence (DFSD). contrast to the symbol-rate in MC literature, proposed exploit multiple samples of received signal per symbol interval achieve lower bit error rates (BERs) than existing schemes. The DFSD achieves BER is very close that achieved maximum likelihood detection, but with computational complexity.
